Jesus Beside Me Volume 2

It has been much too long since I have posted anything on here. I can blame that on a number of reasons but at the end of the day its because it is no longer one of my priorities.

Some lessons in life cannot be put into words. This applies to my last and current season of life. I feel as if I am in between stages. Floating if you will, between what God has taken me through and where he plans to take me next.

A lot of this transition has been painful, but there has been so many blessings sewn in along the way reminding me how gracious his hands truly are even when we feel as if they have dropped us in the past.

For all those reading this I want to give you a gift. Below is a link where you can download a free pdf copy of Jesus Beside Me Volume 2. Hopefully God can use some of the pages  in there to give you the encouragement you are looking for.

“The more we let God take us over, the more truly ourselves we become – because He made us. He invented us. He invented all the different people that you and I were intended to be. . .It is when I turn to Christ, when I give up myself to His personality, that I first begin to have a real personality of my own.” – CS Lewis

PS: Please check out Natalie’s blog here! She did an amazing job writing the foreword for this book.

  1. Hi David! I just came over from Natalie’s blog, where she was talking about your new e book. I can’t wait to download it and take a look. I really love the CS Lewis quote, so if that’s any intro, I’m in for a treat!

Blessings on you in your new season,

  2. I also came from Natalie’s blog, and just received the free download. I’m very excited to get into this, since the Lord has led my personal study into Matthew. I’m also using David Platt’s commentary “Exalting Jesus in Matthew”, and I’ve been so blessed to remember why and how Jesus is my King.
I pray the Lord show you more of his magnificence and affection in this new season of limbo you’re in, brother.
